Problem: Elektra Records was preparing for the release of an album produced by Mark Ronson, an English born producer, songwriter and DJ, making his United States debut.
Solution: Working closely with Mark, Digiwaxx created a mix tape featuring exclusive mixes, drops and re-mixes, as a unique tool to promote the upcoming album. The mix tape was a double-cd showcasing Mark at his best. The mix tape was distributed at special events through out the country, including the Tech.nitions 2nd Annual conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, where over 400 DJs met and discussed Mark's album.
The mix CD was featured on MTV's Mix tape Mondays, and was a powerful promotional tool for his album.
